Thank you for giving us the opportunity to assist you in your journey toward homeownership. You must complete this form to the best of your ability before Habitat can determine if you are eligible for the Habitat for Humanity Portland Region Homeownership Program.

 

This pre-application is the first step toward applying for our Homeownership Program. Once the application deadline has passed, Habitat will randomize all pre-applications received from interested community members and assign each an application number. You will receive an email from Habitat notifying you of your randomly assigned application number along with next steps. Habitat will process applications in order beginning with number 1. If and when we process your application, Habitat will request additional documentation from you. 

 

All information you include on this form will be kept confidential. Be prepared to spend at least an hour completing this form. You may save your progress and return at a later date. You will be asked to share the following information:


·       Household Information: Birth dates, Employment and Education

·       Economic Profile: Household income, Credit History and Assets

·       Current Living Situation: Rent and Utility costs


Pre-applications will be accepted from September 11 - October 6, 2023. If you have any questions or need assistance filling out this pre-application, please contact our Homeownership Department at homeownership@habitatportlandregion.org.

This application round we have 11 homes available in the Rockwood neighborhood of Gresham. The community is called Oak Row. Please click here to see more information about this neighborhood. This is the ONLY location for homes this round. All homes will be 2-bedroom homes. If you are not interested in purchasing at Oak Row is Gresham, please apply during a future application round.

We need 3 years of tax returns including all Schedules - such as the Schedule C if you are self-employed. Applicant & Co-Applicant Identification
The Applicant and Co-Applicant must provide identification to prove permanent residency status or citizenship as well as a picture ID. Sometimes a single document, such as a US Passport, can be used for both. Sometimes, we may need two separate documents, such as a US birth certificate and driver's license. Please upload those documents below.
