Do you have an idea that could bring your neighbors together?
Whether you want to plan a block party, start a community garden, or create another way for neighbors to connect, the Neighborhood Roots Fund can help.
This program awards grants ranging from $100 to $850 to support projects led by homeowners in Habitat communities.
Bring your idea to life
We encourage activities that bring neighbors together, including:
- Neighborhood potlucks or block parties
- Community gardens or beautification projects
- Cultural celebrations that honor all residents
- Skill-sharing workshops
- Neighborhood game nights or talent shows
- Welcome kits for new neighbors
Have a different idea? We’d love to hear it! If your project helps neighbors connect and builds a sense of belonging, it may be eligible for funding.
