Limited spots are still available. Sign up today!
It’s happening once again. Top corporate executives from the Portland Metro area are blocking off half of their busy day to get out and build with Habitat. Don Pearson, Regional President of Wells Fargo, and Steve Johnson, CFO of the Parr Company, have stepped forward to co-host the fall 2011 Executive Build.
Participants will enjoy fresh roasted coffee provided by Nossa Familia Coffee Roasters at 7:45 a.m. and, after a brief safety review and build plan, will be hard at work building by 8:15. At 11:30, participants will have the opportunity to hear firsthand from a Habitat homeowner and enjoy a delicious lunch provided by Romano’s Macaroni Grill.
To extend the impact of the Executive Build beyond a fun day of networking and homebuilding, this year’s co-chairs have each stepped up to contribute $2,500 to help sponsor a home for the Ejigu-Kere family—and are challenging their peers to considering doing the same.
As Don Pearson said, “Executive Build presents a unique opportunity to help a deserving family achieve their dream of homeownership. Just think, by donating $2,500 and a half day of your time, local leaders can be part of raising enough funds to build a home! The impact is huge and demonstrates the influence of local businesses in our community.”
To sign up today to participate in the Executive Build, please contact Shannon Tennant at 503. 287.9529 x13 or shannon@habitatportlandmetro.org.
