Creating Resources to Empower Women

The CREW of Habitat for Humanity Portland Region is dedicated to advancing housing equity and empowering the women+ community through hands-on volunteering. CREW welcomes all individuals who identify as women, including trans women and women across diverse racial and cultural backgrounds.

Members bring their skills, networks, and resources to support Habitat’s mission, raise vital funds, advocate for housing justice across the Portland region, and lead Women+ Community Build days.

What We Do

CREW brings women together to create real, lasting change. Members play an active role in supporting women-led homeownership and empowering women across the Portland region through hands-on volunteering.

Supporting women to become homeowners:
Help women and women-led households access stable, affordable homeownership through fundraising and advocacy.

Empowering women through hands-on volunteering:
Create pathways for women to gain confidence, construction skills, and leadership experience by volunteering on Habitat build sites, including the Women+ Community Build Day.
