Thank you for answering the call to service
Together, we will build The Pope Leo Village at Twenty Fifth Terrace and create a legacy of compassion, justice, and community. Whether you participate through one build day or become long-term champions, your involvement makes a profound difference.
Partner resources
The Pope Leo Village supports the construction of Twenty Fifth Terrace, a 17-home Habitat community in the Markham neighborhood of Southwest Portland. When it is complete — estimated February 2027 — the community will provide stable, affordable housing for approximately 60-75 people.
To use this flyer, simply add your details and share widely in your bulletin boards and newsletters. Don’t forget your fundraising or volunteer-hour goal and the link/QR code to your JustGiving fundraising page.

Please see the document below for online and in person fundraising directions.

Please provide your group size ages of any volunteers under 18 and we’ll work with you to find the perfect volunteer day.

The Interfaith Committee of Habitat for Humanity Portland Region is a community of leaders and volunteers from diverse faith traditions who share a common goal of putting faith into action by helping families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. To learn more, visit our Interfaith Committee webpage or check out our Interfaith Committee info packet.
As a Pope Leo Village Partner, your school or faith community is invited to schedule a private, guided tour of Habitat’s Twenty Fifth Terrace community in SW Portland. This is the future home of 17 families, and the site your fundraising directly supports.
Each tour is limited to 10 participants to ensure a personal and engaging experience. You’ll walk the site with Habitat staff, see construction progress firsthand, and learn about the design of this unique community.
We recognize that not all volunteer opportunities will take place at Twenty Fifth Terrace due to construction timelines and safety. This private tour is designed to give your community a meaningful connection to the place you are helping to build.
As a Pope Leo Village partner, your community is invited to join us for two special celebration events marking the completion of phases at Twenty Fifth Terrace.
More details, including specific dates and RSVP information, will be shared as construction progresses.
We hope your entire community — students, congregants, volunteers, and supporters — will join us to celebrate this remarkable achievement.

Volunteering Post:
This is what faith in action looks like. We had an incredible day supporting the Pope Leo Village with @HabitatPortlandRegion! Together, we’re building 17 affordable homes for our community.
Every volunteer who signs up through a Pope Leo Village Partner will receive an exclusive Pope Leo Village T-shirt as a thank-you for putting their faith into action. Shirts will be available on-site at the location where volunteers serve — either a build site or one of our ReStores. T-shirts and specific sizes will be offered while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.
We also recognize that not everyone is able to physically volunteer. If your school or faith community would like to offer T-shirts to additional members who are participating in other meaningful ways — such as fundraising, event support, or campaign leadership — please contact Marci Bifone, Director of Development at marci.bifone@habitatportlandregion.org to arrange pick-up or distribution.
These shirts help build visibility, unity, and excitement across the campaign — and let your community proudly show that they’re part of the Pope Leo Village.

As a Pope Leo Village Partner, your school or faith community will be recognized on our campaign webpage. This not only celebrates your commitment to building homes and hope — it also helps inspire others to join the movement. When people see a growing community of partners living their values through service, generosity, and collective action, it strengthens the momentum of the entire campaign.
To confirm how you would like your name listed (e.g., parish name, faith community name, school name, ministry/group name), please email Marci Bifone, Director of Development at marci.bifone@habitatportlandregion.org.
