General Home Repair program requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Own and have lived in your home for at least 12 months
- Current on mortgage payments and property taxes
- Have current or attainable homeowner’s insurance
- Have a household income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI)
- Have a minimum of $20,000 in home equity (This requirement does not apply to microloans—applicants without home equity may still qualify for a microloan)
