
Habitat for Humanity Portland Region proudly announces the appointment of six new members to the board of directors. This brings the total number of board members to 22.
Joining the board of directors are Alison Arella (Care Oregon), Andrew Beyer (EC Electric), Devon Duke (Nike), Noury Al-Khaledy (Intel, retired), Mingus Mapps (Former Portland City Council), and Camille Trummer (Interplay).
In addition, Habitat appointed Nancy Lee (Nike, retired) as the chair of the board. Lee has been actively involved with Habitat since 2019 and joined the board in 2022. She also served as co-chair of CREW, a Habitat group dedicated to addressing housing affordability as a critical issue for women.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our newest board members to Habitat for Humanity Portland Region,” said Lee. “Together, we’re committed to expanding affordable homeownership and closing the homeownership gap for families of color. Each of our six new members brings unique experience, strong connections to our community, and fresh perspective, and we’re excited to have them on our team.”

Alison Arella is Vice President of Social Health at Care Oregon, supporting the delivery of Medicaid expansion benefits that address the social determinants of health. Previously, she spent over a decade in corporate social responsibility and employee engagement at Cambia Health Solutions. Arella has volunteered at several Habitat build sites over the past 15 years, and was an early member of the Ambassador Council.

Andrew Beyer is CEO of EC Electric, a fully integrated electrical construction company. He has 30 years of construction experience, and an executive MBA from the University of Oregon. Beyer specializes in strategic management and is committed to sustainability and green building practices.

Devon Duke is CFO/General Manager of Global Retail at Nike, which he joined in 2010. He was previously VP of financial planning and analysis at Neiman Marcus. Duke also currently serves on the board of Westside Christian Schools of Portland.

Noury Al-Khaledy led new business development at Intel, creating new product categories and strategies, and was the General Manager of multiple business units, until retirement in 2023. His nearly 40-year career included engineering leadership, ODM management, and contract negotiation.

Mingus Mapps is a public servant and policymaker who has worked in local government, academia, and the nonprofit world. He served a four-year term as a Portland City Commissioner until January 2025. As a commissioner, Mapps oversaw the Portland Bureau of Transportation, Water Bureau, the Bureau of Environmental Services, and the Bureau of Emergency Communications.

Camille E. Trummer is the Founder and Principal Strategist of Interplay, a social impact consultancy working at the intersection of strategic communications and community engagement. She leads bold, equity-driven initiatives across community economic development, sustainability, and public health. Camille also serves on the boards of the Portland Housing Center and Better Portland, and was recognized as one of the Portland Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2023.
